Advantages of face milling cutters

1. High production efficiency
2. Good rigidity can use larger feed rate
3. It can cut multiple teeth at the same time and work smoothly
4. The use of insert tooth structure makes the sharpening and replacement of the cutter teeth more convenient
5. The tool life is extended

twist drill

A twist drill is a tool that drills a circular hole in a workpiece through its rotational cutting relative to a fixed axis. Named because the chip flute is spiral-shaped and resembles a twist. Spiral flutes have 2, 3 or more flutes, but 2 flutes are the most common. Twist drills can be clamped on manual or electric hand-held drilling tools or on drilling machines, milling machines, lathes and even machining centers. The drill bit material is generally high-speed tool steel or cemented carbide.

Uses of face milling cutters

High-speed steel face mills are generally used to machine medium-width flat surfaces. Standard milling cutter diameter range is ?80-?250mm. The cutting efficiency and processing quality of carbide face milling cutters are higher than those of high-speed steel milling cutters, so carbide face milling cutters are widely used to machine planes.

Integral welded face milling cutter. The knife has a compact structure and is relatively easy to manufacture. However, the whole knife will be scrapped after the teeth are worn, so it is less used.

The machine-clamped welding face milling cutter is to weld the carbide blade on the small cutter head, and then use the method of mechanical clamping to clamp the cutter in the cutter body groove. After the cutter head is scrapped, it can be replaced with a new cutter head, thus extending the service life of the cutter body.
