Difference 1. Different uses

Milling cutters are mainly used for machining planes, steps, grooves, forming surfaces and cutting workpieces on milling machines;

The drill bit is one of the important tools for oil drilling and is generally used for drilling.

Difference two, different categories

The milling cutter is divided into sharp tooth milling cutter and spade tooth milling cutter; drill bit is divided into diamond bit, roller bit and scraper bit.

A milling cutter is a rotary tool with one or more teeth for milling. When working, each cutter tooth cuts off the allowance of the workpiece intermittently in turn.

Notch cutter

A notch milling cutter is a milling cutter with a cutting edge on the outer circumference for blanking or machining narrow grooves. With a gear shape structure, it can cut stainless steel, iron pipes, copper pipes, aluminum pipes, non-metallic pipes, plates and other materials under high-speed rotation. No burrs are left when cutting pipe materials, because the hardness is harder than the cut material after heat treatment, so it can be easily milled and cut at high speed.

3D Shaped Knife
